The Halton Regional Police Service – 1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau has arrested a male in relation to indecent acts performed in Acton.
In September 2021 and January 2022, there were two alleged incidents of an indecent act at different locations in the Town of Acton. In both incidents, the male approached an adult female in his vehicle and initiated a conversation. During the conversation, the male exposed his penis and began masturbating. During a third incident, the male approached a 14-year-old female in the Town of Acton and offered her a ride in his vehicle.
Colby Bernard (32) of Acton has been charged with:
Indecent Act (2 counts)
Criminal Harassment
Bernard was released on an Undertaking.
Investigators were able to link each of these occurrences and identified Colby Bernard as the suspect. The vehicle being used during these incidents is a black 2019 Buick Encore (see photo for reference attached).
