In January 2020, the Halton Regional Police Service Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit (C.A.S.A.) commenced an investigation into a sexual assault allegation involving a former employee of the Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington. On April 28, 2020, Lyndon Anderson (50) of Burlington was arrested and charged with two counts of sexual assault. These charges are in relation to historical workplace incidents that occurred while he was employed at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington. Anderson is no longer employed by the hospital. Between September 17, 2012 and October 31, 2019, Lyndon Anderson was employed at the hospital in a non-medical role (porter, orderly and housekeeping positions). The offences involve coworkers known to Anderson during his employment.
