Trio Arrested Following a Robbery at Glen Abbey Community Center

​In the early morning hours of July 4, 2020, the Halton Regional Police Service was called in regards to a robbery that occurred in the area of the Glen Abbey Community Centre, Oakville. Police received information that two victims in the area were approached by three males who made a demand for personal belongings. When the victims refused, they were assaulted and the items were taken from them. No weapons were used in the offence. Uniform officers responded to the area quickly and were provided with a description of the suspects. All three suspects were located and arrested a short time later. The victims did not suffer any physical injuries and all stolen property was recovered. One 15 year old male, one 17 year-old male and an 18 year-old male have been arrested and charged with robbery. All accused reside in Oakville. They have since been released from custody. Police will not be releasing the identity of any of the accused to protect the identity of the two youths charged.
