About
Harry Rudolfs is a freelance journalist who has worked as a dishwasher, apprentice mechanic, taxi driver and commercial trucker. His writing credits include a stint as foreign correspondent for the Baltic Times in Talinn, Estonia, and a decades-long relationship with Truck News magazine where he was On-Road editor. He has written hundreds of stories published in Canada and internationally, and has prepared feature stories for CBC Radio, Toronto Life, NOW magazine, and the Ottawa Citizen. After moving to Acton in 2012, he worked for several years as a reporter for The New Tanner, a weekly community newspaper in Halton Hills, until it ceased publishing in March 2020. He is presently on-call as a reporter for ActonUP.ca, a community news media site. He is a graduate of York University with a Honours BA in Creative Writing summa cum laude. He lives in Acton with his long-time partner Janice Dalziel, owner of ZenDen Pottery Studio.
