The annual competition is held at the Halton Hills Public Library, Georgetown Branch. The program helps to motivate students who enjoy reading, matches book knowledge, and promotes teamwork, literacy, and healthy competition among students.

"After a three-year hiatus, we are so excited to host the Battle of the Books in person this year," says Dani Austin, Children’s Services Librarian. "As the literacy hub of the community, it’s great to bring the love of books, teamwork and healthy competition together under one roof.”
