COVID-19 is not without its challenges. We have seen large scale changes in our daily lives with major and minor sporting events cancelled, store closures, long lines, social distancing, and the dawning of personal protective equipment for every outing. So how do we celebrate life’s milestones in these uncertain times?
This is the situation faced by so many parents, including mom Melanie Fox. Many of you will know Fox as a fierce activist for autism awareness. Her son, Connor Hope, turned 16 today. In addition to an elaborate birthday yard display, Fox coordinated a parade of cars, lead by James Montague and the CN Rail Police and attended by the Cosplay community, friends and family.
Friends and family celebrated, from a distance, in a birthday parade of cars. Connor thanks everyone for making his day special. He is appealing to the community to help him collect canned goods and toilet paper for the Acton Foodshare. Donations can be dropped off at 147 Main Street South anytime before Tuesday morning when he will be delivering his birthday haul.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CONNOR HOPE!
