All Ontario Public Schools to Close for Two Weeks Following March Break

The Ontario Government announced today that all publicly funded schools will be closed for the two weeks following March Break subsequent to the World Health Organization declaring COVID-19 a pandemic. This will extend March Break from March 14 to April 5. Yesterday 550 individuals in Ontario were tested for COVID-19. Within the last 24 hours there have been 17 new reported cases, all travel related. Of these, 7 were from travel to the US which is a new trend. Ontario has 59 COVID-19 reported cases, 5 of which are resolved.
