Bill Andrews Appointed as Commissioner of Transportation & Public Works

HALTON HILLS, ON – The Town is pleased to announce that Bill Andrews has been appointed to the position of Commissioner of Transportation and Public Works – a post he had been acting in since May 2020. A life-long resident of Halton Hills, Andrews started with the municipality in May 2018 as the Director of Engineering responsible for the Design & Construction and Development Engineering groups. A licensed Professional Engineer and certified Project Management Professional, the Acton native previously spent 21 years as a consultant providing engineering services to municipalities throughout Ontario. “Bill is a natural choice for the position given his work experience and demonstrated success in working for the Town” said Mayor Rick Bonnette. “I’m very pleased with his appointment.”
