Body Discovered in Milton

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating the discovery of a body in the water of Sixteen Mile Creek located on Royal Ontario Golf Club in Milton.

On June 9, 2022, at approximately 1:00 pm the HRPS was contacted by the golf course after a body was spotted in the water on the course.

The HRPS Marine Unit with assistance from the Peel Regional Police Marine Unit and Milton Fire removed the body and it has been confirmed to be male. Investigators are still working to determine the identity of the person found.
