DATES FOR WARD MEETINGS ANNOUNCED May 13, 2019 HALTON HILLS, ON – The dates and venues for three of the Ward Meetings have been determined for June while the meeting for Ward Four will take place in September. Following discussions with Town Council, the format will be informal, drop-in style with no pre-determined agenda or presentations. “Council has decided that they would prefer these meetings to be casual and that the entire time frame be dedicated to working with residents one-on-one to address their personal concerns,” said Mayor Rick Bonnette. “I encourage residents to bring their questions and speak to their local representative. I will be in attendance as well and I’m looking forward to connecting with the community.” Ward Meetings provide the opportunity for residents and local business owners to meet their elected officials and discuss the issues that are important to them. All meetings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Dates and venues are as follows: Ward 1 – June 25 Acton Town Hall 19 Willow Street North Ward 2 – June 5 Glen Williams Town Hall 1 Prince Street Ward 3 - June 11 Town Hall 1 Halton Hills Drive Ward 4 - September Location TBD
