Downtown Acton Names its new BIA Interim Coordinator: Brittany Sedore

Today Downtown Acton officially named its new Interim BIA coordinator, Brittany Sedore.

Some may recognize Brittany from the Acton’s Farmers market with her Scentsy Pixie Scentsations booth.

Brittany brings years of managerial experience to the table and has played a monumental role in this year.s Acton’s Farmers Market.

Brittany tells Acton UP “I’m, nervous I guess, I have big shoes to fill here.” She does however share her excitement for the new role, “I’m excited to be taking on this opportunity and look forward to serving this great community” said Sedore. “We have lots of positive energy and we are going to keep that going”.

This move from the BIA is coming after former coordinator Alex Hilson announced his leave of absence to seek election for municipal council in Ward 1.

Hilson comments “Brittany is an excellent choice for the job” said Hilson. “We worked together very closely and there will be minimal disruption as we go through this period”.We appreciate everything Alex has done for us” said BIA Chair, Monica Parker-Galway, . “He took us in a good direction and

we’re looking forward to having Brittany continuing that knowing she has a background volunteering with us”.
