Fatal Shooting In Georgetown
At approximately 11:00pm last night (October 29th 2019), Halton Regional Police received reports of gunfire taking place on Monarch Dr. in Georgetown South.
Police responded to find an adult male who suffered fatal gunshot wounds.
Homicide unit is currently investigating and appealing to witnesses for CCTV or Dashcam footage.

"Halton Regional Police Investigate Shooting in Georgetown
On Tuesday October 29th, 2019 shortly after 11:00pm police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting that took place on a residential street in the area of Monarch Drive and Niagara Trail in the Town of Halton Hills (Georgetown). Upon arrival, emergency services located a lone, deceased adult male outside of a residence who had been shot. The investigation is being treated as a homicide.
Police are urging anyone in the area of Monarch Drive and Niagara Trail, who have CCTV cameras and may have information to provide investigators to contact the Halton Regional Police Service.
The Homicide Bureau has taken carriage of the investigation and anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Tip Line at 905-825-4776.

UPdate: According to Crime Stoppers, male victim was 36 year old Ryan Lorde.

Ryan Lorde, also known as "Littles" and "Littles the General", was a 36 year old father of 3. Ryan moved to Brampton from Nova Scotia, and then later to Georgetown. Beyond being a father, his instagram describes him as a "Serial Entrepreneur" and a "Multi Business Owner". Ryan was a promoter and a musician (music video below).
