Gaudet assumes position effective Dec. 7, 2020 The Halton District School Board is pleased to welcome Ian Gaudet as the Board’s Superintendent of Facility Services, with an official start date of Dec. 7, 2020. Gaudet is currently Controller of Facility Services at the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB). In his current role as a member of the senior leadership team, he is responsible for more than 500 staff in the facility operation, maintenance, renewal, environmental sustainability and new construction. Gaudet has been with the WRDSB since 2009. His previous experience includes both public and private sector roles in facility services, engineering and transportation. Gaudet holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree. “I am excited to begin my new role and work with the talented people at the Halton District School Board,” says Gaudet. “I am passionate about education and creating great spaces for student learning while improving equitable and sustainable practices.
