Halton Hills Public Library Announces New Collection Newsletters for Kids, Youth and Adults

HALTON HILLS, ON/ July 28, 2022 – The Halton Hills Public Library (HHPL) is excited to announce that patrons can now subscribe to a selection of collection newsletters based on their needs and interests. This new feature launches July 28, 2022.

These monthly collection newsletters, Book News, feature an array of titles including recently released books and books you may have missed the first time around. Several collection newsletters are available including one featuring picture books, another highlighting chapter books for older kids and tweens, one focusing on young adult books, and another highlighting fiction and nonfiction books for adults and older adults. Each collection newsletter contains carefully selected titles to meet the needs and interests of those readers. Feel free to subscribe to as many newsletters as you wish for you and your family.

To register for the collection newsletter(s) of your choice, visit HHPL’s Book News website page, click on the newsletters you’d like to receive, enter your information, and click submit. It’s that easy!

“We are so excited to offer these collection newsletters to the community of Halton Hills,” says Heather Stoll, Collections and Support Services Librarian. “We feel these newsletters offer a much more personal approach, allowing patrons to read and receive more of what they want from their library. It’s an experience that is more tailored to each person’s needs and wants. We hope you enjoy the experience!”

Halton Hills Public Library invites patrons and visitors to explore, discover, play, and browse inside the Acton and Georgetown branches. Now, patrons have another experience, which can help take the guesswork out of what they’d like to read next.
