On Saturday March 14th we saw quite a crowd welcome the visit of Irish dancers, from The Butler, Fearon and O’Connor school of Irish Dance, organized by Colin Lewis. Everybody enjoyed the St. Patrick’s celebrations; however, this will probably be the last gathering of members for a while. The situation that the Covid-19 emergency has imposed upon us, means the executive are in the process of issuing memos and notices of cancellations. There is an effort underway to boost the use of Social Media to inform our members, regarding Branch closures, limitations, or restrictions, guided by Legion Command and local government. …………………………..AND THIS JUST IN !!!!!.
AS OF MONDAY MARCH 16th BRANCH 197 ACTON LEGION WILl BE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

Not surprisingly, the March 22nd trip to Sunnybrook has been postponed and we hope to go at a later date when the current medical emergency has passed.
