NEW RECREATION PROGRAM “EPIC SKATE & SCOOT”
LAUNCHED WITH JUMPSTART
HALTON HILLS, ON – Local youth who meet the eligibility requirements will have the opportunity to participate in a new three-week recreation program. Thanks to the partnership between the Recreation and Parks Department and the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program.
The Skate and Scoot Program will be located at the 3 Musketears Skatepark in Acton, and eligible youth ages 10 - 12 years can participate free of charge using either a skateboard or scooter.
All equipment to participate in the program including a skateboard or scooter, helmet and protective gear will be provided and may be kept by the program participants.
Join experienced program instructors on August 11, 18 and 25 starting at 9 a.m. for a morning of fun including learning new tricks, improving old skills, introductory techniques, safety, terminology, park etiquette and more!
