Residents Invited to Sign Book of Condolences to Honour Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

HALTON HILLS, ON – The Town of Halton Hills is offering a book of condolences at both branches of the Halton Hills Public Library where residents may express their thoughts and share recollections upon the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

“I know that there are many in our town with a passion for the Monarch and the Royal Family,” said Mayor Rick Bonnette. “I thought it was important that we provide a place for remembrance and recollection as we grieve this great loss as a community and as a nation.”

The condolence books are available during regular library hours at the Georgetown Branch, 9 Church Street and the Acton Branch at 17 River Street.

Expressions of sympathy may also be shared on the Government of Canada’s online book of condolences.
