Sign Sign Everywhere a Sign – Acton Residents Are Persevering

Social distancing and isolation can be daunting, but some local residents are showing their resilience and gratitude. Rennie Street Park playground may be closed, but someone has taken to the nearby wooded trails and decorated them with laminated butterflies.

And have you heard? There’s going to be a bear hunt in Acton on March 27. Participants have already started placing teddy bears in their windows and on their porches. When you are out walking with your children simply see how many teddy bears they can spy.

And let’s not forget our frontline workers. There is a growing movement called “Spread the Love”. Place a heart on your front door(s) or window(s) to show your support for the essential frontline services and health care. One local resident has skipped the semantics and erected a sign which reads “Thanks to all frontline workers and first responders. You’re the greatest!!”

“Resilience is accepting your new reality, even if it’s less good than the one you had before. You can fight it, you can do nothing but scream about what you’ve lost, or you can accept that and try to put together something that’s good.” ~ Elizabeth Edwards Keep finding the good Acton!
