Town Waiving Fees for Monthly Municipal Parking Lot Permits

HALTON HILLS, ON – Effective immediately, the Town is waiving fees for monthly municipal parking lot permits within Halton Hills. This grace period will continue until the state of emergency is lifted. The intent is to support those who need to work from home or who are self-isolating. Town staff will be contacting current permit holders to advise them of the temporary fee waiver. “During these unusual and challenging times, we are happy to make working from home or self-isolation easier for the community," said Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Brent Marshall. We all need to work together, and waiving these fees will make it more convenient for everyone.” This grace period is consistent with what other area municipalities are offering, which includes suspended paid parking enforcement, waived parking fees and the elimination of street parking exemptions.
