Although this season has been rather different on the ice for the North Halton Twisters Girls Hockey Association, many teams are giving back this holiday season to members of our local communities. This season the Twisters were unable to hold their annual Twister Day festivities but many teams are continuing to give back during these trying times.
Our U11 BB team teamed up with Lizzie Leckie and her group in Georgetown to help make this Christmas one to remember for the local Senior residents. Each player from the U11 BB team selected one or more Seniors and gifted them with what they asked for this holiday season and more. Many of the players chose to make personalized cards, drawings, paintings, and more for the Senior residents to receive alongside the gift they asked for.
The Twisters are very proud that their U11 BB team has taken on the task of making Christmas best it can be for members of our communities.
