Arrest Made after Robbery Attempt in Milton

The Halton Regional Police Service has made an arrest after a failed robbery attempt at a Money Mart location in Milton.
At approximately 7:30 pm on Tuesday September 1, 2020, a lone male entered the Money Mart and lifted his shirt revealing a hand gun in his waistline and demanded cash from the employee present.
The employee activated the panic alarm and the accused fled the scene without any cash. Officers located and arrested the accused a short distance away. The hand gun was discovered to be a plastic toy gun.
Micah Davis (23) of Scarborough has been charged with the following:
Robbery with a firearm
Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
Davis was held for a bail hearing in Milton.
