Arrest Made in Milton Pharmacy Robbery

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has made an arrest in relation to two robberies that occurred in Milton and Cambridge.


On January 10, 2022, at approximately 7:25 pm, HRPS officers responded to a pharmacy in the area of Leger Way and Britannia Road in Milton for reports of a robbery. Two suspects entered the pharmacy and stole narcotics. One of the suspects assaulted an employee during the robbery. No physical injuries were sustained. Both suspects fled the scene along with a third suspect who was waiting in a vehicle which had been reported stolen out of Durham Region on January 5, 2022.


Investigators determined that the same suspects were responsible for a similar robbery of a pharmacy earlier that same day in the area of Coronation Boulevard and Island View in Cambridge.


The stolen vehicle was subsequently recovered in Brampton on February 11, 2022.


On March 8, 2022, a Criminal Code search warrant was executed at a residence in Mississauga. During the execution of the warrant, one of the suspects was located and arrested.


A 16-year-old male from Brampton has been charged with:

  • Robbery (2 counts)

  • Disguise with Intent (2 counts)

  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000

  • He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.


Police are continuing the investigation in efforts to locate the outstanding suspects. Anyone with information is asked to contact the 1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2416.
