Arrests Made in Burlington Drug Trafficking Investigation

The Halton Regional Police Service has made arrests into a month long investigation related to a drug trafficking investigation in Burlington.
An investigation by the Burlington Street Crime Unit has led to charges against the following individuals;
Yassin MOHAMED (34 years) of Burlington
Trafficking (Methamphetamine)
Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Methamphetamine)
Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
Gerald BUCKLAND (42 years) of no fixed address
Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
Obstruct Peace Officer
On October 14th 2020, Investigators executed two search warrants at a residence and a U-haul storage locker in the City of Burlington, resulting in the seizure of several items linked to the above-noted offences. Both Yassin MOHAMED and Gerald BUCKLAND have been released from custody, pending a court appearance in the Town Milton.
