The Bennett Centre is holding its Beer and Burger Trivia spring fund raiser at the Appalachian Public House in Georgetown on Wednesday night at 7:00 pm. The price of admission gets you an opportunity to taste the Bennett Burger, a unique burger with toppings developed by Bennett Centre staff.
Ticket holders will also get to play trivia games and are eligible for giveaways and prizes during the evening. Lorne Davies hosts the acoustic jam on Wednesday nights and will be supplying the musical entertainment along with some talented musicians.
“We've done this for many charities here, like the Foodbank and the cancer assistance program in town . Every six months we target a different charity,”according to Appalachian owner Emanuele Nalli. “We've already been raising money for the Bennett Centre for the last three or four months at our acoustic jam nights.”
