Bronte St/South of Steeles Ave. Milton- Train/Pedestrian Fatality

On Saturday July 10th, 2021 at approximately 1:30am, Halton Regional Police were dispatched to the railway tracks in the area of Bronte Street North and Steeles Avenue in the Town of Milton. A 911 call was received that a pedestrian had been struck by a CP freight train. Emergency Services attended the scene and confirmed that a 42 year old female Oakville resident had been struck and killed by a westbound train. The Collision Reconstruction Unit attended the scene and assumed responsibility for the investigation. CP Police also attended the scene and assisted with the investigation. The identity of the pedestrian will not be released.
