Fatal Motorcycle Collision - Appleby Line & Limestone Road, Milton ​On Saturday March 23rd, 2019 the Halton Regional Police Service responded to a report of a serious injury collision, involving a motorcycle and pick-up truck near the intersection of Appleby Line and Limestone Road in the Town of Milton. At approximately 4:45pm, a 38 year old male resident of Milton was operating a 2007 Ducati motorcycle southbound on Appleby Line when he failed to navigate a curve and crossed the center line. The motorcyclist slid along the roadway and was struck by an oncoming northbound 2016 F150 pickup truck, driven by a 38 year old female resident of Erin. The male rider was transported to local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The female pick-up truck driver was uninjured in the collision. Due to the nature of the incident, the Halton Regional Police Collision Reconstruction Unit responded and took carriage of the investigation. The scene was held for approximately 4 hours for the at-scene collision investigation.
