Firearm and Drug charges Laid Against Two Burlington Residents ​On June 20, 2019, members of the Halton Regional Police Service - Drug and Human Trafficking Unit completed an investigation into illegal firearms in Burlington. Drug Unit officers, with the assistance from the Tactical and Rescue Unit, arrested two persons and executed three search warrants. Located and seized during this investigation was a 9 mm handgun with the serial # removed and ammunition, a sawed off .22 caliber rifle and ammunition, cocaine, scales, drug packaging and approximately $13,900 in cash. Lennox Miller-Fields (25) of Burlington is charged with: -Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted Firearm -Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Firearm -Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Restricted Firearm -Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited Firearm -Possession of Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition -Possession of Restricted Firearm with Ammunition -Possession of firearm knowing its serial number has been defaced -Possession of prohibited device -Contravention of Storage regulations -Possession for the Purpose of trafficking Shaleta Daniels (29) of Burlington is charged with: -Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted Firearm -Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Firearm -Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Restricted Firearm -Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited Firearm -Possession of Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition -Possession of Restricted Firearm with Ammunition -Possession of firearm knowing its serial number has been defaced -Possession of prohibited device -Contravention of Storage regulations Both parties were held pending a bail hearing and will appear in court on June 21, 2019.
