On the afternoon of January 25th, the Halton Regional Police Service responded to a robbery at the Georgetown Pharmacy in the Town of Halton Hills. Four males had entered the pharmacy and assaulted staff and customers before stealing a quantity of pharmaceutical drugs.
The males attempted to flee the area in a stolen vehicle but were involved in a motor vehicle collision a short distance away. The males, who were not injured, subsequently fled on foot. They were quickly located and arrested without incident by officers in the area.
One adult and three youth have been charged with Robbery, Wear Disguise with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
