Georgetown Youth Charged with Vehicle Break-In's

On October 29, 2020, members of the Halton Regional Police Service - 1 District Street Crime Unit concluded a theft investigation which involved a series of motor vehicle break-ins in Georgetown, Acton and Milton. As a result of the investigation a young offender was identified as the person responsible. A search warrant was executed at a residence in Georgetown and investigators seized stolen property. Owners of the recovered property have been notified.
A 16-year-old male from Georgetown has been charged with:
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
Fraud (2 counts)
The accused has been released from custody pending a court appearance in Milton.
