Halton Police Investigating Overnight Home Invasion in Georgetown

On Sunday May 31st, 2020, at approximately 2:00 am, police responded to a call for a home invasion style robbery on Main Street North in Georgetown. Police attended the area and learned that 4 suspects forced entry to the victim's residence armed with a firearm. During the interaction multiple shots were fired by the suspects, although no one was struck. The victim described the suspects as four black males wearing dark clothing, with bandanas covering their faces. The suspects fled the scene in what is believed to be a dark coloured 4 door sedan. Investigators are appealing to members of the public for dash cam or home or business surveillance video from the area of Main Street North and Ewing Street in Georgetown between 1:00am and 3:00am.
