Halton Police Investigating Overnight Shooting in Oakville

On Friday May 29, 2020, at approximately 2:30 am, police responded to a call for shots fired on Napier Crescent in Oakville. Police attended the area and it was determined that a vehicle had driven by a home on the street and several shot were fired at the residence. Approximately an hour later, the vehicle returned and several more shots were fired at the same residence. There were no injuries and police believe the shooting was targeted. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a dark hatchback or small SUV. Investigators are appealing to members of the public for dash cam or home or business surveillance video from the area of McCraney Street, between Trafalgar Road and Sixth Line between 1:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. Anyone with witness information is also asked to contact Detective Ron Wright of the Oakville Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4747 ext. 2284.
