Homicide Investigators Looking to Identify Vehicle [Georgetown]

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is requesting the public's assistance in identifying a vehicle potentially linked to the Ryan Lorde homicide. Lorde was shot and killed on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 in the Town of Halton Hills (Georgetown). The car is possibly a black, 4-door, 2007-2009 Toyota Camry or similar model (see attached photos). The HRPS is exploring the possibility that this vehicle may have been rented, loaned, stolen or sold between October and November of 2019. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Constable Quince Buchanan of the Homicide Unit at 905-465-8768 or the Homicide Tip line at 905-825-4776. Contact Crime Stoppers' at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or through the web at www.haltoncrimestoppers.ca -- Original Release – October 30, 2019: On Tuesday October 29th, 2019 shortly after 11:00pm police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting that took place on a residential street in the area of Monarch Drive and Niagara Trail in the Town of Halton Hills (Georgetown). Upon arrival, emergency services located a lone, deceased adult male outside of a residence who had been shot. The investigation is being treated as a homicide. Police are urging anyone in the area of Monarch Drive and Niagara Trail, who have CCTV cameras and may have information to provide investigators to contact the Halton Regional Police Service. The Homicide Bureau has taken carriage of the investigation and anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Tip Line at 905-825-4776.
