Male Arrested In Stolen Vehicle (Oakville)

On Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 7:45 pm the Halton Regional Police Service was contacted by the Hamilton Police Service regarding a stolen vehicle that had just been observed in their area. Investigation determined that the vehicle was stolen from London, Ontario earlier in the evening. Halton officers were able to locate the stolen vehicle in the area of Bronte Road and the Queen Elizabeth Way in Oakville. Initial attempts to stop the vehicle proved unsuccessful, however the vehicle was later located in York Region. Once located, officers from the Halton Regional Police Service and York Regional Police Service were able to successfully stop the vehicle and arrest the driver. Dylan Hill (23) of Ohsweken has been charged with:

  • Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle

  • Failure to Stop After Accident

  • Flight from Peace Officer

  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000

The accused was held for a bail hearing.
