Milton Man Arrested for Child Pornography Offences

In February, 2020, members of the Halton Regional Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (I.C.E.) were made aware of a Facebook user that was using local groups to attempt to make arrangements to sexually assault a child. As a result of this investigation, Bradley Munroe (56) of Milton was arrested on April 27, 2020 and charged with the following:

  • Making an agreement or arrangement to sexually assault a child

  • Possession of child pornography

  • Distribution of child pornography

It should be noted that the accused used a number of social media applications, and utilized the user names "Brad Munroe" or "BJ". The accused was held pending a bail hearing. Halton Regional Police Service reminds parents of the importance of monitoring your child's online social media presence, and having a conversation with them about internet safety and the disclosure of personal information.
