Nail Found in Halloween Candy in Milton
On Wednesday November 6, 2019 the Halton Regional Police Service was made aware of a nail inserted into a chocolate bar collected by a 12 year-old boy in Milton.
The mini or 'fun size' chocolate bar was "Mr. Big" brand. The candy was collected by the boy on Halloween night in the area of Derry Road and Bronte Street South in Milton.
Police are investigating the incident and would encourage all parents to thoroughly check their children's candy regardless of where it was collected. Anyone who locates anything suspicious in their children's candy is asked to contact police.
