Oakville Break and Enter Suspect Arrested

​In the early hours of June 11, 2020, an alert citizen contacted police about an individual attempting to break into residences in the area of Wheat Boom Drive in Oakville. Responding officers quickly located and arrested the suspect. Further investigation determined the suspect attempted to break into seven other residences in the surrounding area. Police recovered stolen property at the time of the arrest. Asaad Husein (19) of Stoney Creek has been charged with break and enter (commit) and seven counts of attempted break and enter. Husein has been released from custody and will appear in court in August of 2020.
