Oakville Officers Trying To Locate Local Teen

The Halton Regional Police Service is currently involved in an investigation wherein the media and public can be of assistance. Eighteen year old Oakville resident Ayan HASSAN left her home yesterday morning (November 27th) driving a silver coloured Toyota Corolla which bears Ontario licence plate BYFZ 935. She was last seen at 9:15 a.m. yesterday driving the Corolla on Lakeshore Road East, near the Oakville/Mississauga border. She was headed east towards Mississauga at the time, and is believed to have been alone. Ayan HASSAN is an 18 year old black female, 5'5" tall, and has a thin build. Her braided hair is black and blonde coloured, and she may be wearing a black jacket. Officers have not found any indication that there is an immediate threat to Ayan's well-being, but her family is trying to locate her as they're unaware of her current whereabouts, and expected her home several hours ago.
