Police Investigate Hate Motivated Graffiti at Georgetown Park

On March 17, 2021, the Halton Regional Police Service received a report regarding graffiti at John Street Park in Georgetown. According to the information received, the graffiti, which included hate motivated phrases, was written on a play structure located at the park. Officers attended the scene, and this incident remains under investigation at this time. Police are appealing to anyone that may have witnessed this incident or has any relevant information to contact the 1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2415 or ext. 2416.
