On Tuesday July 26th, 2022 at approximately 9:00 AM a 24 year old Milton resident driving a Mazda 3 suffered serious injury during a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Trafalgar Road and Hornby Road in Milton. She was transported to Sunnybrook Hospital for emergency treatment. Also involved in the collision were a 46 year old Cambridge resident driving a dump truck and a 61 year old Brampton resident, operating a transport truck and trailer.
Due to the severe nature of the injuries, members of the HRPS Collision Reconstruction Unit attended and took carriage of the investigation. The scene investigation was assisted by the expertise of Forensic Services and members of the Commercial Motor Vehicle unit. This intersection is within an active construction zone. Trafalgar Road was closed for approximately 6 hours.
