Sexual Assault *Additional Charges Laid*

In March 2018 the Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit initiated an investigation into the conduct of Arthur "Dale" Wood, after receiving multiple complaints. As a result, on March 27th 2018 he was arrested and charged accordingly.


Further investigation into the accused has revealed an additional victim, and on April 20th 2018, Arthur "Dale" Wood was arrested a second time, and charged with an additional count of Sexual Assault.


The accused was released on a Promise to Appear and Undertaking with a court date of May 14, 2018 in Milton.

ORIGINAL RELEASE - MARCH 27, 2018.

As a result of an investigation conducted by the Halton Regional Police Service - Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit (C.A.S.A.), Arthur "Dale" Wood (73 years) of Markdale was arrested March 27th, 2018 and charged with: Sexual Assault x 3, and Sexual Interference.


Throughout the 1980's and 1990's, the accused was a singing/music instructor, and offered private lessons from within his residence in Georgetown as well as in clients homes. During the initial investigation, a second victim contacted police, disclosed a similar sexual assault, and as a result additional charges have been laid.

The accused was held for a Bail Hearing.
