Three Arrested in Drug Trafficking Investigation
The Halton Regional Police Service – 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau has arrested three suspects in relation to a drug trafficking investigation.
Investigators identified a suspect and vehicle that were observed making drug transactions in Oakville, Hamilton and Toronto between May 25, 2023 and July 19, 2023.
On July 28, 2023, Controlled Drug and Substances Act search warrants were executed at two residences in Toronto as well as a vehicle associated to an identified suspect.
As a result of the search warrants, the following items were seized (see attached photo):
Approximately 332 grams of fentanyl (approximate street value of $66,000)
Approximately 143 grams of cocaine
Approximately 11 grams of Methamphetamines
Items consistent with drug trafficking (cellular phones, digital scales, packaging, etc.)
$1050 in Canadian currency
Joshua Palmer Foster (26) of Toronto was arrested and charged with:
Trafficking a Controlled Substance
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon (brass knuckle-handled knife)
Dejaunte Larose (24) of Toronto was arrested and charged with:
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon (brass knuckles)
Fail to Comply with Release Order
Destiny Lyons (24) of Toronto was arrested and charged with:
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
Palmer Foster and Larose were both held in custody pending a bail hearing. Lyons was released on an Undertaking.
