Two Deceased Located in Georgetown House Fire

On February 17, 2021 at approximately 5:35 am, the Halton Regional Police Service responded to a residence on Hidden Lake Trail in Georgetown for a fire. Upon police arrival, the home was fully engulfed in flames. Tragically, two deceased persons have been located inside the home. The Ontario Fire Marshall has been contacted to assist with the investigation. The fire has been extinguished by Halton Hills Fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation and has yet to be determined. Hidden Lake Trail remains closed at this time for the investigation.
