***UPDATE*** Fatal Collision in Oakville
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) would like to express our deepest sympathies to the friends and family of the victim of yesterday's
collision and anyone else who may have been impacted by the tragedy.
At the request of the family, police will not be identifying the victim of this collision.
Investigators have charged 58 year-old Kevin Hyde of Oakville with the following:
Impaired Operation Causing Death
Dangerous Driving Causing Death
The accused is scheduled to appear in court (virtually) on January 12, 2021.
The HRPS would also like to thank Halton EMS and Oakville Fire for their assistance yesterday.
