Update to Serious Collision in Halton Hills (08/06/2020)

As previously released, on the 30th of May 2020, a serious motor vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Ninth Line and 32 Side Road in the Town of Halton Hills. An eastbound Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 40 year old Acton man was involved in a collision with a northbound Chevrolet Cobalt. The driver of the Cobalt, an 80 year old woman from Erin was airlifted to Hamilton General Hospital in critical condition. She has since died of her injuries. The Collision Reconstruction Unit maintains carriage of the investigation. Excess speed and impairment were not factors in this collision.
