The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has made an arrest and a large drug seizure following an investigation by the 1 District Street Crime team.
On Thursday, January 11, 2024, officers arrested 43-year-old Robert Czarnowski of Mississauga in Mississauga. Investigators also executed search warrants at one location in Mississauga and a second location in Oakville.
As a result of the warrants, police seized approximately 2 kilograms of cocaine, 2 kilograms of cannabis resin, 3 kilograms of illicit cannabis, hundreds of oxycodone pills, and 7 grams of methamphetamine. Police also seized $150,000 in cash, and other indicia related to drug trafficking (see attached photo of seized items). Â
Czarnowski has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (3 counts) and Possess Cannabis for the Purpose of Distribution.
Czarnowski was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
