Police Seeking Public’s Assistance in Home Invasion Investigation [Milton]



The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is seeking the public’s assistance with the investigation into a home invasion in Milton.


On January 14, 2024, at approximately 12:00 a.m., three suspects entered a home on Commercial Street in Milton via an unlocked front door. The suspects were wearing masks and were armed with handguns. The suspects assaulted the occupants of the house and made demands for cash. Personal property was taken.


The victims did not suffer serious physical injuries as a result of the incident.


Investigators believe the home invasion was targeted.

The suspects were described as three young black males, possibly Somalian (as one of the suspects spoke in Somalian during the attack). They were driving a black SUV.


Investigators are appealing to the public for any dash cam footage near the intersection of Commercial Street and Derry Road West from 8:00 p.m. on January 13 to 1:00 a.m. on January 14.
